The Whangarei Deep Sea Anglers Club is situated on the Marina at Tutukaka and is one of the longest established and most successful Game fishing Clubs in New Zealand. The Club rooms (known as the Tutukaka Club) boast a wealth of history in terms of old fishing paraphernalia, photographs, trophies and a range of fish mounts from Marlin through to Snapper and Gurnard. The Club actively encourages visitors including “holiday-makers” school field trips, tourist groups, visiting overseas boats etc. and can provide some very knowledgeable “tour guides”.
We have more than 1200 members who come from a diverse cross section of the community – from fishing, diving and yachting circles, local residents and returning visitors – all using and enjoying the Club amenities, providing a convivial atmosphere, only minutes from the fishing and blue water that is envied by anglers and divers world-wide.
Our Club rooms feature the Anglers Bistro, bars, lounge area and a large outdoor deck with seating overlooking the marina. All visitors are welcome. You are also welcome to join our club and have full use of our facilities and of course reciprocal visiting rights to many fishing clubs around the world.
