There are a number of ways you can support the work of the Association and get involved in your community, here are some options:
As a volunteer and membership-based organisation our success is dependent on the time and input community members can give. To best represent the views and aspirations of the Tutukaka Coast community we need a broad membership that best reflects our diverse community.
We are looking for new members including those willing to serve on our Executive Committee. We have a number of active sub-committees who would welcome additional expertise, such as Communications, Local Planning and Fundraising.
We are currently establishing our first Focus Groups to develop and implement projects/initiatives that respond to the priorities identified in our community research project.
Community safety and well-being, road safety, the environment and the impact of tourism were key themes emerging from the research project. It is expected that the Focus Groups will be working on these issues.
If you have some time, skill and energy to contribute please register your interest with the secretary by the end of February 2022.
Have your say
We encourage our members and the wider community to provide their views and ideas to us and to others involved with planning for our community and protecting our environment.
If you have some time to give or knowledge and skills to share the following groups or community projects need you.
We greatly appreciate contributions to support our work. You can make a general donation or support a specific project/cause.
